I have already posted Microsoft Morro screenshots two days ago as it got leaked on internet. And now finally Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) also got leaked on internet and you can try your hands on this new Microsoft product by downloading it for free. Microsoft was using the codename Morro for this antivirus, but finally it got a official name and it is Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) now. Microsoft Security Essentials is coming to replace previous Microsoft releases such as Windows Live OneCare and Windows Defender.

This leaked version has been tested and worked on since June 1 this year. This supports operating systems like Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 etc. Since this is the leaked version, virus signature database auto update can’t be assured. You have to download this as a standalone Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) software download.

Since this leaked version is the pre beta release, you may find several bugs and limitations. This leaked version is named as Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) 1.0.2140.0.
