Everyone has heard about Microsoft’s new search engine Bing. Many bloggers and webmasters have reported that they have started getting traffic from Bing. You can also submit your blog or website to Bing and start getting traffic from Bing. It requires verification after submitting your website or blog. Bing’s webmasters tool provides this feature and you can access it from the extra menu at top right corner of the Bing home page.

How to submit your Blog or Website to Bing?

1. Go to this URL, Sign in with your Windows Live ID to access the webmaster tool.
2. Enter the website URL and also sitemap URL (sitemap is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended to add one).
3. Click on Submit button. After submitting next step is to verify your website and this can be done either with XML verification or HTML Meta tag verification. You can get more details from the help center.
4. Once your Blog or website is validated, you can see the complete details of the website submitted like number of URLs indexed any issues with the crawling etc.

The webmasters tool allows you to check profile, crawl issues, back links, outbound links, keywords, and also sitemaps.
