Bring the Classic Start Menu in Windows 7 with CSMenu

Windows 7 comes with Superbar (a new taskbar), and most of the users are happy with the Superbar. But there are few users who are missing the old classic start menu in Windows 7.

Unlike Windows XP and Vista, Windows 7 doesn’t come with classic start menu. If you want to get back the classic start menu in Windows 7, CSMenu helps you.

CSMenu is a freeware and small utility for Windows 7 which allows you to get back the classic start menu in Windows 7. All you need to do is to download and install CSMenu, an icon will be placed in system tray area, which can be used to enable/disable classic start menu and to change language as well.

Note that the free version of CSMenu doesn’t support Windows 7 aero.

Previously i wrote a Windows Update Readiness Tool, which is a windows utility developed by Microsoft for fixing Windows update errors. Here i bring you another utility, Fix WU, for the same purpose.

Fix WU is a free and portable windows utility developed by one of Windows Club author. It fixes Windows update errors by re-registering a total of 114 dll, ocx and .ax files, which are required for the proper functioning of Windows Updates.

To fix a Windows Update error, simply run the utility, click on Fix Windows Update button and wait for a few seconds to see the successful message.

Windows 7 Account Screen Editor is a freeware windows utility developed by Deviantart user, which allows you to customize the logon screen background of Windows 7 very quickly and easily. All you need to do is to click on Set background button and choose a picture for your logon screen background.

Whenever the picture you selected for background is large, ASE will automatically make the picture smaller.
