Backup Google Docs Files on Computer with GDocBackup
Google Docs is a Google’s web service which allows you to create and store different types of documents online. If you are worried about your files in Google Docs then you can use GDocBackup utility to backup all your documents from Google Docs to your computer. It is a free application for all windows operating system.
It is a very easy to use application. After downloading and installing GDocBackup, it will ask for configuration settings as below snapshot. In that configuration window, enter your Google Docs username and password. Also select the folder for saving Google Docs files. Click on Save button and then click on exec button on the next window.
A few optional settings are also available. It is for example possible to select the output format for each document type and to route the traffic through a proxy server.
